4 chosen for Red Hook Faculty scholarships

Brenna Dolen, Sophie Laing, Emily Marshall and Erin Pierce will each receive a $1,000 scholarship on awards night. There were 39 nominations this year, a demonstration that many students were noted by their teachers for their outstanding efforts and contributions.

Two local Girl Scouts from Troop 10274 and the leaders who guided them were celebrated at an awards ceremony at the Red Hook Firehouse on April 28. Both girls, Allison Diaz and Tamara Wambach, from Troop 10274, earned their Gold Award, the highest achievement of Girl Scouts.

New farmers market coming to Red Hook

Village approves 16-vendor venue in municipal lot

There will be just two farm stand vendors, one for fruits and one for vegetables, and the rest of the vendors will be selling products, many created using local farm ingredients, like jams or preserves. Seventy percent of the vendors will be from Red Hook.
