Girls Scouts honored for 100 years

Members of some of Red Hook’s Girl Scout troops accepted a special resolution passed by the Red Hook town board March 13 honoring the Girl Scouts of America’s 100th anniversary.

During the hour-long presentation, Alexander Durst, co-vice president of The Durst Organization, explained the many changes to the old plan. The development will primarily target weekenders from New York City and elsewhere seeking to build second homes in the Hudson Valley.
