Red Hook man arrested for felony DWI

Red Hook Police reports the arrest of a 49-year-old Red Hook man on Thursday at 10:30 PM for numerous felony Vehicle and Traffic Law offenses. The arrest resulted from observations of an officer conducting a Town of Red Hook patrol who witnessed a motorist swerve off the roadway.

The vehicle was being operated on County Route 79 (aka Budds Corners Rd/Linden Ave) in the Town of Red Hook. Upon stopping the vehicle for the observed violation, it was determined that the operator, , was operating the vehicle while in an intoxicated state.

As a result, was taken into custody and charged with multiple felony driving while intoxicated charges. The charges against include driving while intoxicated, driving with blood alchohol content of .08 or more, both made felonies due to past convictions within 10 years.

was arraigned and remanded to Dutchess County Jail on $1,000 cash over $2,500 secure bail bond.
