The Village of Red Hook participated in the FEMA storm re-imbursement program and recently filed all supporting documents. As a result, the village has been notified it will recover $9,760 which will be a great help offsetting expenses incurred for this past winter’s road clearing work.
“The FEMA involvement shows the importance of a viable federal government with its assets and attention directed to our needs here at home,” stated Mayor Ed Blundell. “Local officials and citizens must insist that Congress re-focus on our needs here in the homeland, on real issues that affect American’s daily life. Infrastructure maintenance and improvement is a key requirement for our progress and quality of life and needs immediate attention.”
