Lewdness charge for Pleasant Valley man

, 55, of Pleasant Valley, was arrested Aug. 16 in Pleasant Valley and charged with endangering the welfare of a child and public lewdness, both misdemeanors, according to a State Police report. Troopers were dispatched by Dutchess County 911 to investigate the report of a man without pants or undergarments throwing mail on the ground and acting irrational. Investigation reportedly revealed that walked around an apartment complex on Route 44, exposing himself in the presence of several children under the age of 17. He was arraigned and remanded to Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail.
