Clinton Corners man faces felony grand larceny charges

A Clinton Corners man who allegedly fled from state police during a traffic stop Feb. 4 on the Taconic Parkway now faces two felony grand larceny charges, according to a State Police report.

The report said , 47, fled on foot after being stopped in a vehicle with an expired inspection sticker. He was taken into custody after a brief pursuit, the report said, and charged with resisting arrest and second-degree obstruction of governmental administration, both misdemeanors.

Further investigation revealed that was wanted by the New York Police Department Warrant Unit on charges of first-degree grand larceny, and second-degree grand larceny, both felonies, the report said. First-degree grand larceny charges involve property exceeding $1 million.

was remanded to Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail and is now in the custody of the NYPD.
