Hyde Park Planning Board
Due to inclement weather Feb. 5, the public hearing for the revised expansion plan for Roosevelt Fire Station 3 was cancelled. In a special meeting Feb. 7, the planning board set a new public hearing date for their next meeting, Feb. 19 at 7pm in town hall.
Site plan review waiver granted
At their Feb. 7 meeting, the board reviewed and approved a request from Arthur and Wendy Gross of 12 Rogers Place for a site plan review waiver on their application to expand their porch and build a cover for their entry and exterior stairs. The board reviewed a positive recommendation from the Zoning Administrator and noted that the application meets all other zoning requirements.
Wall sign permit recommended
Minute Man Press of 4354 Albany Post Rd was before the board Feb. 7 to request a recommendation for a 12 sq. ft. wall sign to be placed above the entrance to the building. The board is required to review the application because the sign will be visible from Route 9. The board reviewed the application and found that all dimensions are code compliant and then unanimously approved a recommendation for the permit.
