Weapons charges for 2 after trespassing complaint

, 18, of Staatsburg, was arrested Dec. 16 in Livingston and charged with second-degree menacing with a weapon, and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a knife, both misdemeanors, as well as unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation, according to a State Police report. Also arrested in Livingston was , 18, of Elizaville, who was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a knife, a misdemeanor, according to the report. The two were arrested after troopers investigated a trespassing complaint on Pleasantvale Road in Elizaville. was remanded to Columbia County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail bond; was processed and issued an appearance ticket for court.

Update: This post has been updated to reflect that , of Clermont, and , of Staatsburg, were charged with criminal possession of a weapon, according to a State Police report, not criminal possession of a firearm as we originally reported.
