Red Hook celebrates Hanukkah and the contributions of Glenn Goldstein

LIGHTING HIS WAY: Judge Jonah Triebwasser and Rabbi Hanoch Hecht, of the Rhinebeck Jewish Center, at a Dec. 2 public Menorah lighting in Red Hook at the municipal parking lot, which celebrated Hanukkah and the contributions of a beloved community member Glenn Goldstein, a longtime Red Hook resident who recently passed away from pancreatic cancer. Triebwasser was honored with the lighting of the Shamesh flame as a close friend of Goldstein. “A soul is compared to a flame, and just as the lights of the Menorah light up the darkness, so too his soul will continue to light up Dutchess County with all his hard work,” said Hecht.
