3 arrested on prison contraband charges

Two 17-year-old minors and a 20-year-old man have been arrested and charged in incidents involving contraband in prison. One youth, from Brooktondale, was arrested in Livingston Nov. 19 and charged with possession of contraband in prison, a misdemeanor, according to a State Police report. He was processed and released with tickets to appear in court. The second youth, from Claverack, was arrested in Livingston Nov. 20 and charged with providing contraband to prisoners, a misdemeanor, according to a State Police report. He was processed and issued an appearance ticket for court.
