DWI crackdown results in multiple arrests

A coordinated DWI crackdown between Oct. 31 and Nov. 3, involving the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office and regional police departments, including Red Hook and Hyde Park, resulted in numerous arrests. Among those charged, according to the Sheriff’s Office, were:

49, of Poughkeepsie, arrested in Hyde Park, charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, false impersonation, and aggravated unlicensed operation, all misdemeanors.

20, of Poughkeepsie, arrested in Hyde Park, charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor.

30, of Staatsburg, arrested in Poughkeepsie, charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor.

30, of Hyde Park, arrested in Hyde Park, charged with driving while intoxicated and driving with a blood alcohol content of .08%, both misdemeanors.

51, of Hyde Park, arrested in Poughkeepsie, charged with driving while intoxicated and driving with a blood alcohol content of .08%, both misdemeanors.

27, of Hyde Park, arrested in Hyde Park, charged with driving while intoxicated and driving with a blood alcohol content of .08%, both misdemeanors.

25, of Pleasant Valley, arrested in Poughkeepsie, charged with driving while intoxicated and driving with a blood alcohol content of .08%, both misdemeanors.

All were processed and issued tickets to appear in court.
