The Culinary Institute of America is hosting a new exhibit of international historic menus from more than 50 countries.

On display is a selection of menus from the Bruce P. Jeffer menu collection, covering six continents and restaurants in such countries as Israel, the Congo, Greece, China, and Guatemala. Dated menus include ones from Copenhagen in 1960; Buenos Aires in 1967; and Nassau, Bahamas in 1970.

Admission is free to view the exhibit, which will be on display in The Conrad N. Hilton Library’s Donald and Barbara Tober Exhibit Room through November. When the college is in session, the Exhibit Room is open Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm and from noon to 5 pm on weekends.

The CIA’s entire historical menu collection includes more than 25,000 pieces and dates back to 1855.
