David Ray has earned my vote this Nov. 5, to represent Ward 2 on Hyde Park’s Town Board.
I’ve known David as an active supporter of our community for years. A business and property owner in our town, David has volunteered countless hours to helping children through scouting and catechism classes, and his knowledge of the town’s rich history is something we sorely need in a representative whose ward includes our main commercial core as well as thousands of long-time residents.
David’s four children were educated in our public school system and he was passionate in arguing to keep Hyde Park Elementary open. In short, he walks the walk and will bring his seasoned judgment to some complicated issues facing our residents, including fighting for safe drinking water for those in the Greenbush neighborhood.
Please join me in voting for David Ray – he’s exactly the kind of caring, concerned and energetic person we need now. And though he can only be elected by those of us who reside in Ward 2, I can guarantee that he will work hard every day for everyone in Hyde Park.
