Wayne Rifenburgh is the quiet guy who just does a lot for Rhinebeck and doesn’t try to steal the limelight.
He recently moved from the village out to the sticks of the town, where the real people live. Wayne was on the Village Board and now he is vying for Town Board Supervisor, to replace Tom Traudt.
Just a little background on Wayne: He was born and raised in Rhinebeck; has been married to Nancy for 39 years, two kids (not kids anymore), and has worked as a Claims Adjuster for the last 20 years.
But he has also racked up a few accomplishments: Vietnam-era decorated Veteran, VFW Life member, American Legion Past Commander/ Life Member, Past Chief/Life Member Hillside Fire Company, Former Coach Little League and Girls Softball, Deputy Mayor Village of Rhinebeck.
He is also a consensus builder, an organizer, a team player and more than up to the challenges of being the next Town Supervisor of Rhinebeck.
