Kirchhoff Properties presented Rhinebeck planners with an application for subdivision plat approval, wetlands permit, special use permit and site plan for the construction of a 4,300 square foot Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union bank with drive-thru in the unused space adjacent to the Mid Hudson Medical Group’s building in the Stop & Shop plaza on Route 9. The applicant, together with the medical group, stated that the impact of construction on rear-facing wetlands is negligible and they are intent on unifying the water flow behind the building to consolidate the wetlands and prevent erosion of the parking lot by water. The planning board set a public hearing on the project for Mon., May 6 at 6:35pm in Town Hall.
