Antoinette N. Horton, 85, of Livingston, NY, passed away on Friday, November 2, 2012 at her family’s home.
Born on May 3, 1927, in Tarrytown, NY, she was the daughter of the late Acursio and Nettie Verdi.
For many years Antoinette was employed throughout the White Plains area as an office worker until she moved to Livingston to be with her family.
Antoinette married Harry Horton and he predeceased her on February 18, 1978.
She is survived by her loving family, a daughter; Linda Betancourt of Livingston, a son and his wife; Robert and Marilyn Horton of Durham, CT, a brother; Robert Verdi of Vermont, a loving granddaughter and her fiancé; Debra Betancourt and Kurt Mezgier, and seven great grandchildren; Ra-Shawn Betancourt, Kelii Denny, Tiarra Betancourt, Jonathon Torres, Alana Betancourt, Matthew Luecke, and Justin Torres.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a grandson; Shawn Betancourt, and her siblings; Angelo, Vincent, and Jennie Verdi
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, November 6th, 2012 at Burnett & White Funeral Homes, Red Hook, NY. Burial will be at St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery, Red Hook.
Friends may call at the Burnett & White Funeral Homes on Monday, November 5th, 2012 from 1 – 3 pm & 6 – 8 pm.
