Free clothes, toys, shoes at Northern Dutchess Bible Church

The Northern Dutchess Bible Church in Red Hook is offering free clothes, shoes, toys, and other items to the public through its Community Closet ministry.

The Community Closet opened its doors last fall after several church friends and community leaders saw a need for helping others with good, used clothes. The ministry is now staffed by a group of dedicated members or friends of the church.

Individuals are urged to visit the Community Closet during the mid-August summer clearance, so that volunteers can restock the shelves with fall and winter items. The entrance is at the lower level of the Northern Dutchess Bible Church at 59 Fisk Street.

The Community Closet is open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday afternoons from 1-3p.m. The church also accepts donations of clean, used clothes, household items, shoes, and toys.

For further information, contact the church’s office at 845-758-3141.
